Rental Period:

Minimum rental period of 1 month.

Minimum Driver Requirements

¨    21 years of age (drivers under 23 subject to a young driver fee)

¨    International driver's license

¨    Identity Document or Passport

Additional Drivers

Additional drivers are subject to prior approval and an additional driver fee. 

Payment

Payment terms:  Monthly in advance. 

Security Deposit

If credit card details are provided, no deposit is required.

If no credit card details are provided, a security deposit of R5 000 in Cash is required.

The Cash deposit will be refunded 60 days after the end of the rental agreement. 

Vehicle Condition

The vehicle must be returned in a similar condition as it was received. 

The client will be liable for any costs as a result of the misuse or abuse of the vehicle. 

Vehicle Maintenance

The vehicle must be brought to our workshop for a free compulsory inspection, at least monthly or after every 3 000 km.  We are responsible for the maintenance of the vehicle.

Fuel

The vehicle will be delivered with a full fuel tank and must be returned with a full fuel tank. 

All vehicles use either unleaded petrol or lead replacement petrol (LRP). 

Credit Cards are not accepted for the purchase of fuel in South Africa.

Area of Travel

Travel is allowed anywhere within the borders of South Africa, but only on tarred roads.  Any damage caused on dirt or gravel roads will not be covered by the insurance and will be for the client’s account.  No travel is allowed outside the borders of South Africa.

Safety Tips

We drive on the left!!

Drive defensively, since driver standards vary in South Africa.

When possible, park in areas which are secure and well lit at night.
