The Wilhelm’s Auto Group consists of Wilhelm’s Auto Repairs and Wilhelm’s Auto Hire.
Wilhelm’s Auto operates from premises (offices and workshop) in Stellenbosch. The business is owned & managed by Wilhelm Ackermann (operations) and Cobus Ackermann (finance & administration).
Wilhelm’s Auto Repairs was founded by Wilhelm Ackermann in July 2000, providing mechanical repairs to passenger vehicles & light commercial vehicles (bakkies).
Wilhelm’s Auto Hire opened its doors in February 2001, after we identified the need for safe, reliable & affordable vehicles for long term hire, specifically for international visitors.
Wilhelm’s Auto Hire primarily caters for international students, interns, tourists & other foreign visitors to the Western Cape, South Africa, who require a vehicle for long term hire (1 - 6 months, or longer).
